Lots of fun – noises, people, air planes, helicopters, etc. Hackett, Macho, Dominique and Durango were in attendance. They all did very well.

“Airport Day” is an annual event when the Fullerton Municipal Airport opens its doors to the public, allowing the community to tour the Airport and see first-hand the important role it plays in providing service not only to Fullerton, but to all of Orange County. The Orange County Fire Authority, the Anaheim Police Department , the California Highway Patrol and other public agencies are just some of the participants. Other organizations such as airport businesses, the Fullerton Airport Pilots Association, the Civil Air Patrol, and Fullerton’s own Police and Fire departments also participate. Airport Day is typically held on the second Saturday in May, from 10:00am – 4:00pm, and admission is FREE.

First graders notes to Hackett

First graders notes to Hackett. Thanking him for visiting their classroom and helping them learn about service dogs.

KinderCaminata at Cypress College 3-3-17

The Student Support Services Division invites local kindergartners to Cypress College each year to engage them with college and career planning. The event is particularly important to children whose parents and/or guardians may not have had the opportunity to pursue a higher education. Children will interact with Cypress College staff, students, and department and club representatives. Departments are encouraged to provide an age-appropriate, educational and fun activity at their table. Community organizations will also host activity tables.

Guide Dogs for the Blind had a booth to provide information about Guide Dog Puppies and Working Dogs. The children were allowed to come in and pet the puppies.

Daria, Dominique, Lisbon, Macho and baby Durango were present.
